3 THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU CAN’T SEEM TO FORGIVE…..

One of the hardest things to do is forgiveness, especially having to forgive someone who isn’t sorry. By the human standard, it is a really hard thing to do but by the spirit which is in us, It is easy.

Jesus was beaten, jeered at, embarrassed and crucified despite being innocent. but still, he looked up to heaven and said; father forgive them for they know not what they do.

If the accusers of Jesus had known what purpose his death was to serve, they wouldn’t have crucified him nor accused him unfairly.

When next you’re faced with the challenge of having to forgive someone who has hurt you deeply, Try these three things;

1. LET GO and LET GOD

Most of the people you have met on your journey through life who have hurt, disappointed you are all part of your process of becoming. It is all in a bid for the plan of God for your life to be made manifest.

There are some platforms that only people with a certain story of pain can stand on. Also, there is no way a person can become a champion or warrior without going to the battle front.

The not so good experiences are catalysts that will propel you to the very place that God has ordained for you.

When you see it this way, instead of accommodating bitterness towards them, you’ll be filled with compassion because like Jesus said, they don’t know what they do

2. PRAYERFULLY FORGIVE

Jesus went about doing good, healing those who were oppressed but still, the people gave him out and requested for a criminal in his stead, he suffered humiliation, he was beaten and embarrassed but when he got to the cross, he had the power to command fire down but he only said, father forgive them……(PRAYERFULLY FORGIVING)

When next you’re having difficulties forgiving someone even after seeing them with the eyes of compassion, Pray and call their names in prayer.

And the holy spirit sets to work.

3. REACH OUT TO THEM

Doing this stems from the understanding that un forgiveness is a thief that robs a man of his goodies, peace of mind and communion with God, if you have grudges against your brother, drop your offering, go and make peace with him before you come back.

When you do, the God who sees in secret and rewards in the open will reward you.
