BRIDLE YOUR TONGUE…
I used to be a member of a group and the group head once asked a question, she asked people to talk about the hurtful words that had been said to them. People started pouring in very insensitive words and you’d wonder if they were being truthful. I listened patiently to everyone and at the end of the meeting, I left feeling so disoriented.
I mean, people have really difficult things they deal with and we compound these problems when we are insensitive with our words.
Stop asking people when they’re getting married, stop asking m when they’ll have kids, stop asking them why they are so fat, Stop asking them why they are so thin, stop and stop.
It’s okay to get married at 22, it’s perfect to get married after 30 if that is when you’ll find fulfilment the most.
Bridle your tongue, and if you can’t be nice with your words, then you don’t have to talk at all. The mental challenges a lot of people struggle with actually stem from the not so good words that someone has said to them at some point.
Be careful how you use your tongue, stop talking down on others, stop treating people based on what they wear or what you can get from them. There is more to every person you see, i will keep saying this that words are life, they are seeds , they grow and germinate.
Speak the right words to yourself, a lot of people have given up on themselves and they speak damaging words to themselves just to generate pity party,
Say what you want to see even if it doesn’t look like it right now.
what you say overtime becomes your reality.
bridle your tongue, if you can’t be nice with your words, then DON’T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.
